Dr. Suzanna Grima is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and completed her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, in partnership with Moffitt Cancer Center. There, she received comprehensive training in skin cancer detection, dermatologic surgery, and complex inflammatory skin conditions. During her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident and discovered a passion for cosmetic procedural dermatology while learning from respected leaders in the field.
Dr. Grima has contributed to medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology journals and finds great joy in teaching and mentoring future physicians. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Hawai’i, where she enjoys educating medical students and residents with the same care and dedication she brings to her patients.
After completing her training, Dr. Grima returned to Hawai’i—a place that has always felt like home. As the daughter of an Air Force Colonel, she lived in Hawai’i during her childhood and carries with her fond memories of aloha, close-knit community and ohana- centered living. She feels deeply grateful to now raise her own family on O’ahu and to serve the community she loves.
Dr. Grima is honored to care for patients of all ages and takes great pride in caring for entire families—often caring for multiple generations under one roof. She looks forward to caring for you and your family and feels grateful for the opportunity to welcome you to Grima Dermatology and Surgery.
